Stephane Booroff

Stephane is probably best known for his work with Edison Lighthouse, the late 1960’s pop band with whom he’s played for a number of years. His love of playing Jazz goes back 25 years through countless gigs and he has played at the Marlborough Jazz Festival for several years as well as the Ealing & Brecon Jazz Festivals with The Blue Notes. He’s led a number of bands in differing musical genres and is an eclectic musician.

Bobby Allen

Bobby came to music late in life and after spending time with vocal coaches both enhancing and training his voice. Nowadays he is happiest working with musicians and is equally at home in large theatres and more intimate venues like clubs. He is both a vocalist and a compere.  He has performed at some notable venues including Her Majesty’s Theatre & Ronnie Scotts Club.

Paolo Losi

Paolo was born in Milan and started playing classical music on the organ at the age of five. At sixteen he was introduced to Jazz music by his friend Gianni Guido (Jazz Crusaders member 1993 – 1996). Paolo came to London in 1994 and since then he has been very active within the UK music scene, collaborating with David Jean-Baptiste, Quentin Collins, Gene Calderazzo, Tony Cofi, Luca Luciano and others for a number of performances including the Queen Elisabeth Hall, Pizza Express Dean St, Windsor Castle, St.James Piccadilly, Bath Jazz festival, The National Theatre of London and upstairs at Ronnie’s.  He currently holds a monthly residency at the Bulls Head Club and the Mill Hill jazz club.  Expect highly imaginative improvisational routes, dazzling solos, killer swing and articulation. Paolo’s playing is vibrant, fresh and competent, always from the heart.

Sadly Paolo recently passed away and his talent will be sorely missed.

Mark Rose

After completing his studies in guitar and contemporary composition at the London College of Music and Goldsmiths College, Mark became a regular on the London Jazz scene on double bass. Over the past 15 years Mark has performed many times at Ronnie Scott’s, The 606 and Dean Street Pizza Express as well as venues across the UK. Mark plays regularly with The Geoff Castle Trio, Vasilis Xenopoulos, Sara Dowling, and many more as well as running his own trio, quartet and electronic group Toy Rokit.

Duncan Eagles

Duncan Eagles is a London based saxophonist that is described by JazzWise as “fast becoming one of the most exciting players emerging on the UK jazz scene”. Recognised internationally for his work with UK band Partikel as well as working extensively as a sideman, Duncan has performed at some of the most prestigious festivals and venues in the world including Love Supreme Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival (New York), Vancouver Jazz Festival, and Wuhan Jazz Festival (China).
